HTPC [Home Theater Personal Computer]

HTPC has existed since years ago ,being a replacement for ones' dvd or bluray player ,it has several advantages over a player as it allows the user to do more things rather than merely sitting back and watching movies after inserting a dvd or bluray disc. There are things found in a player which i personally don't like. For instances ,a low budget player may response slower than usual sometimes so does the remote controller. It is irritating when things like that happen ,forcing you to reach in front of your player for fixing it up.

Several reports show that a low budget player may be slow in reading a bluray disc and it is slower than ones can expect ,resulting an anger to be shown by the users ,so they will probably just apply a portion of force on their player for releasing their rage. However ,buying a good performance bluray player would just cost the same price as a good performance computer .Therefore, I'm thinking of building up a HTPC for making the home theater setup complete in my house.

Parts that i would like to get:

Processor- AMD Phenom II X6 if reports say that the overcloking performance is good
otherwise a good overclocking and cheap x4 proc will do.
Heatsink- Corsair H50 maybe
Mobo- Asus 790GX or 8xx series
RAMs- 4Gb but brand has not yet been decided
HDD- WD black caviar 1TB
Graphic card- ATi 5770/5850 depends on budget
PSU- Corsair Modular with sufficient wattage probably 620W
Casing- yet to be decided or just use back the old one which is ugly with dents all over the surface
Keyboad- a durable ,water resistant and cheap keyboard will do
Mouse- ditto

and with a good bluray rom which can read *ahem* bluray discs.
