It has finally arrived...

Things are getting much more exciting recently... to be continued lol

EDIT:
Ok..i received my 50-135mm f2.8 2 days ago but i couldnt use it because my camera wasnt with me at that time until yesterday night. It was almost 12AM the impatient me couldnt wait anymore so i decided to ring my brother whom promised to bring back my camera from my sister in KL but all in the sudden, i heard a car's engine sound and immediately recognised it as a Proton Wira stopped infront of my house gate with head lamp lightening up my house car porch.

I quickly unlocked my house door and turned on the light as to fasten up everthing ,letting me to reach my camera without wasting a single second. Suprisingly, my camera still in good condition when i took it out as i had expected it to be dirty or broken maybe but it turned out oppositely ,guessing that my sister had been taking good care of it.

No , its still not the end....I then ran into my room to take out my almighty lens which was the 50-135mm f2.8 to be attached into my camera for running a few quick tests.

The quality of 50-135 is briliant with weather sealing but it weighs quite heavy in my oppinion, so holding it at low shutter speed or long zoom is not an easy task which requires practices and skill. When it comes to PQ (Picture Quality), it is sharp at f2.8 and its even sharper after stopping down by 1, therefore no doubts in the picture quality and it satisfies me very much, no regrets in buying this lens.

More upcoming opinions regarding to my new lens will be submitted in next post. :D

HTPC [Home Theater Personal Computer]

HTPC has existed since years ago ,being a replacement for ones' dvd or bluray player ,it has several advantages over a player as it allows the user to do more things rather than merely sitting back and watching movies after inserting a dvd or bluray disc. There are things found in a player which i personally don't like. For instances ,a low budget player may response slower than usual sometimes so does the remote controller. It is irritating when things like that happen ,forcing you to reach in front of your player for fixing it up.

Several reports show that a low budget player may be slow in reading a bluray disc and it is slower than ones can expect ,resulting an anger to be shown by the users ,so they will probably just apply a portion of force on their player for releasing their rage. However ,buying a good performance bluray player would just cost the same price as a good performance computer .Therefore, I'm thinking of building up a HTPC for making the home theater setup complete in my house.

Parts that i would like to get:

Processor- AMD Phenom II X6 if reports say that the overcloking performance is good
otherwise a good overclocking and cheap x4 proc will do.
Heatsink- Corsair H50 maybe
Mobo- Asus 790GX or 8xx series
RAMs- 4Gb but brand has not yet been decided
HDD- WD black caviar 1TB
Graphic card- ATi 5770/5850 depends on budget
PSU- Corsair Modular with sufficient wattage probably 620W
Casing- yet to be decided or just use back the old one which is ugly with dents all over the surface
Keyboad- a durable ,water resistant and cheap keyboard will do
Mouse- ditto

and with a good bluray rom which can read *ahem* bluray discs.

A New Lens Is Gonna Be Born Soon

As stated in title of today, a new lens is going to be born very soon on the next week as i decided and confirmed to get a new lens which is Pentax 50-135mm f2.8 ,to be a new family member in my Pentax Lens lineup.

It was all in hurry with time running out sec by sec as the seller had posted up a sale thread in Photomalaysia for selling his Pentax gears but the sale thread was closed after few days with his last post saying that he'll be taking a flight to Hong Kong and possibly sell all of his lenses there without leaving his phone number in his sale thread which made me go nervous since the condition of the lens is in pristine and it is astonishing cheap with full accessories and box which you hardly find this kind of lens up for sale anywhere in Malaysia ! Price will be announced after i get the lens.

Being not able to contact with the seller has made me worry about the lens being sold off in Hong Kong before i could get in contact with him ,leading me to search for his contact number everywhere in the forums but it turned out with no luck. Therefore ,i quickly logged on to my MSN ,starting to ask for his number in the Pentax Group (it is a group founded by a senior member of Pentax user where all the Pentax users can share and talk together). In the first 10 minutes ,no reply was seen which gave me a thought that i have completely no luck this time for buying the lens. All in the sec of thinking ,a message popped up from one of the members ,saying that he has the seller's contact number. Thank God ,i was astonished by getting the contact number ,so i made a call right away to the seller and a deal was made and agreed that he will be meeting me up when he gets back to Malaysia.

Now i believe photos taken by using the new lens will have significant improvements with better sharpness ,higher contrast ,better colours and so on ,since this lens is one of the top notch lenses whilst the limited lenses being the highest, it is well known for the attributes stated. Okay, time to see some photos.

Below is the photo of lens taken from a website which is the same model with the lens i'm getting.

The Beginning

Good day and welcome people. Well, this is my first time creating and writing a blog although i have read countless (since i have no intention to jot down how many blogs i have read lol) blogs written by others and they're brilliant and interesting. The reason why i have created one for myself as i want to practise my writing skill so that i can keep it alive and kicking since it has been extremely under utilized during my effing long holidays.

Being enthusiastic in photography ,here will be another room for me to post up my photos which i'll be trying to capture and post a photo each and everyday to retain and improve my photo taking skill. You may be wondering where is my previous space of displaying my photos ,it is my facebook but since the quality of pictures as in sharpness and colour ,will tremendously be reduced when photos are being uploaded to facebook. As to sustain the quality ,blog seems to be a good place for posting up photos without sacrificing a huge loss in quality.

On the other hand ,leaving constructive comments or criticism are welcome if possible as it will be a great way for amending my skill in taking photos and making my blog more interesting as well. Okay i gotta stop here ,something is nagging me, with leaving a photo as promised.
